Parvati River



Originating in the northern slopes of the Vindhya Range in Madhya Pradesh, River Parvati enters Rajasthan near Chatarpura in Baran District. It flows through Kota District and Jhalawar District of Rajasthan. The Parvati's catchment area is nearly 3,070 square mile. Its main tributaries are Ahu, Amjhar and Parwan. The Parvati finally joins the right bank of the Chambal River.
