Anuppur

Anuppur is the seat of administration of Anuppur District in Madhya Pradesh. It is situated 270 km east of Jabalpur.

The Virateshwara temple in Sohagpur Vanganga and Amarkantak, a major pilgrim center of Hindus, are the spots worth visiting in the vicinity.

Nearest airport is at Jabalpur. Anuppur Junction Railway Station is situated on the Bilaspur-Katni Section of the South Eastern railways. National Highway 78 passes through Anuppur.
