Nediyirippu is a serene and scenic panchayat area located at Eranadu Taluk in Malappuram District. This hilly region was the ancestral abode of the Nediyirip family and came to be known as Nediyirip Svarupam in the middle ages. From the picturesque Nediyirippu Hills, one can see Parappanagadi, Ponnani and Tirur. Local attractions include Thannicadu Siva Temple, Karikali Temple and Juma Masjid at Kavungal. Calicut Airport is the nearest airport. Tirur railway station is the major railway station.
