Devikulam




Devikulam is a small and beautiful hill station, located at an altitude of 1800 m above sea level, about 16 km south-west of Munnar, in Kerala. It is a much sought after tourist destination with its lush green lawns, exotic flora and fauna and the cool mountain air.

The Sita Devi Lake is a good picnic spot with its mineral waters and picturesque surroundings. It is ideal spot for trout fishing.

Devikulam has many tea plantations. The spice garden, run by the district tourism promotion council, is a hangout for tourists.

Best time to visit the hill station is from September to May.

Devikulam is about 149 km from Kochi and 132 km from Kottayam.
