Alappuzha Bus station is about 5 km from Alappuzha Railway Station, on
National Highway 47. The ferry station is a short walk from the bus station. The station operates deluxe, express and fast passenger buses connecting important towns in Kerala. Inter state bus services are also operated to Bangalore and Coimbatore.
