The Adi Shankara Kirti Stambha Mandapam, a memorial built in honor of Shri Adi Shankara, is located at
Kaladi, about 45 km from Kochi. With a height of 46 m, the tower is a 8-storeyed structure built in octagonal shape. Visitors get an astonishing view of the surrounding lush green fields from the top of the structure. This pink colored memorial has two elephant statues positioned at the entrance. The Paduka Mandapam, with two silver knobs, is the nearby attraction. Besides, there are large statues of Adi Shankara and Lord Ganesh.
