Nanjangud



A major pilgrim center on the banks of Kapila river, Nanjangud is 23 km south of Mysore. The famous Dravidian style Nanjundeswara temple is the prime attraction. The place takes its name from the temple.

Nanjungud houses a railway station on the meter gauge rail line connecting Mysore to Chamarajanagar.
