Mallikarjuna Temple is located at the top of
Hemagiri hill in
Bangalore District.
Dedicated to Lord Shiva, the temple has a small idol of Nandi and a pond in the front. Special pujas are offered on Mondays. Shivratri is an important festival celebrated here.
Hemagiri is located on the outskirts of Huliyurdurga, which is 80 km from Bangalore.
