Wakha Valley

Wakha Valley is a picturesque valley located at Mulbekh in Kargil District. This valley, with the Wakha River flowing through it and the fresh mountain air is a charming place. The river Wakha along with the river Drass joins the Suru River at Wakha Rgyal, which is at the upper part of Wakha valley.

Shergol and Mulbekh are on the banks of the Wakha river valley. Wakha Valley is accessible from Kargil on the road to Leh.
