Urgyan Dzong, a meditation retreat, is set in a stunning natural mountain fortress in
Zanskar range. It lies deep within the mountains with a small monastic establishment at its center. The region is bounded by caves where some well known Buddhists saints had meditated. One of the caves is linked with the visit of Padmasambhava, the patron saint of Tibetan Buddhism.
