Set at an elevation of about 11,463 ft above sea level, Karbudurun is a charming village in Doda District of Jammu and Kashmir. It is about 94 km away from the state capital – Srinagar. Lohur lies to the west of Karbudurun whereas Singpur is to the east. It is a comfortable base for trekkers and mountaineers. Snow-capped tall mountains mark the landscape of this region.
One can approach Karbudurun from Qasba Naubug, which is about 15 km away. The convenient railheads are at Jammu, about 110 km away, and at Udhampur.
