Lippa Monastery is an ancient monastery situated 14 km from Jangi Village in Kinnaur District of Himachal Pradesh. It is an important center of Buddhism in the district.
Lippa Monastery was started by Lama Devarama, a renowned astrologer.
Lippa Monastery has three temples; two houses the 'Kangyur' and 'Tangyur' scriptures, while the third is the 'Goldang Chakodar'.
The monastery can be reached by bus from
Rekong Peo, the district headquarters.
