Hadimba Temple, also known as Dhoongri Temple, is an ancient temple situated in Manali, Himachal Pradesh. Built in 1533, the temple is dedicated to Goddess Hidimba the wife of Bhim. The temple enshrines the small black image of the Devi. The imprinted footprints on a black rock are believed to be the footprints of the goddess.
This historically and archeologically famous temple has a 27 m high four-tiered Pagoda like roof and the entrance is exquisitely carved with mythological shapes and symbols.
The annual festival held in May is a major draw.
