Sayaji Baug

Sayaji Baug, also known as Kamatee Garden, is situated in Vadodara, Gujarat. Spread over an area of 113 acres, on the Vishwamitri River, the garden was built by Sayajirao III in 1879. The garden features a zoo, Baroda Museum and Picture Gallery, Health Museum and the Sardar Patel Planetarium. The Floral Clock housed in the garden attracts every visitor. Another point of attraction is the 3.5 km joy ride through the park on the toy train.

Sayaji Baug features well maintained lawns, decorated with sculptures placed on pedestals. The park, with its fountains and trees, is an ideal place to rest and relax.

Vadodara Junction Railway Station, on the Anand-Valsad rail route, is the nearest railhead.
