Perched atop a hill, Maa Bagheshwari Devi Temple is located at Kudargarh in Sarguja District of Chhattisgarh. The temple is dedicated to Goddess Kudargarhi.
Sacrificing of goat for the fulfillment of devotees’ desires is a ritual conducted here. The blood of the goat is poured into a small hole (kund) of 6 inch in diameter. It is said that the kund can never be filled with blood, even if thousands of goats are slayed.
