Ranikhata is situated in Kokrajhar District of Assam. It is bounded by Patgaon (19 km) in the west, Saralpara (25 km) and Deosri (15 km) in the north, Tukrajar (5 km) in the east and, Garubhasa (11 km) and Sidli (13 km) in the south. Siliguri in West Bengal is located about 250 km from here.
