Garamurh Satra is among the famous satras located at Majuli Island in Jorhat District of Assam. It was founded by Lakshmikantadeva.
The satra preserves some ancient weapons called 'Bortop'. It holds traditional Raasleela with great enthusiasm during the end of Autumn.
Majuli can be reached by Jorhat Nimatighat from Jorhat, Dhokuakhana from Dhemaji and Luit-Khabolughat from North Lakhimpur.
