Taksing




Taksing is a small village on the Line of Actual Control (LAC), about 250 km north of Daporijo, in Upper Subansiri District. It lies on the eastern edge of the Asaphila area and is the last Indian outpost in the district. Taksing has been identified as one of the eight disputed territories by India and China.

Tame Chung Chung, 50 km downhill, is the nearest place, which can be approached on a road.
