Royal Norwegian Embassy is located at
Chanakyapuri, the diplomatic enclave of
New Delhi. It has been set up to extend both routine and emergency services to Norwegian citizens residing or in transit in India and to ensure their overall security and welfare whilst in the country.
Embassy’s functions include issuing emergency passports and immigrant and non-immigrant visas, notarization and attestation, cultural exchange, offering consultancy services for commercial ventures, representing its citizens while talking to local authorities, offering them assistance in case of emergencies and purveying necessary tourist and local information for the needy.
Indira Gandhi International Airport is 15 km to the north-west of Chanakyapuri. The Norwegian Embassy is about 12 km to the south-west of New Delhi Railway Station and is around 12 km from the Interstate Bus Stand at Kashmiri Gate.
Working Hours:
Monday to Thursday: 8:30 hrs to 13.00 hrs and 13:30 hrs to 16:00 hrs.
Friday: 8:30 hrs to 14:00 hrs.
Business Hours: 9.00 hrs to 12.00 hrs.
The Embassy is closed Saturdays, Sundays and all public holidays.
