Mebo - also called Taiang - is located in East Siang District and lies on National Highway 52A. It is about 25 km from Borguli. Mebo is located near the district’s border with Upper Siang District.
Dr Daying Ering Wildlife Sanctuary is a popular wildlife getaway, within easy access from Mebo. Rafting, boating and angling facilities are available at Pasighat, the district headquarters.
