Mahupani

Mahupani is situated in the southern region of Dhanbad District in Jharkhand. Baliapur, a taluk headquarters is located nearby. Chanch, Kalubathan, Barba, Damodarpur and Salpatra are the prominent places at a close distance.

Short excursions can be arranged to Panchet Dam, Charak Pathar, Topchanchi Wildlife Sanctuary and Topchanchi Lake. The district headquarters, Dhanbad is around 20 km to the north of Baliapur.

The nearest major railway station is Dhanbad Junction Railway Station. Ranchi Airport serves this area.
