Januhut often called as Jankuth, is an unclimbed peak, located between Swachand and Meade's Col, at the head of the Gangotri Glacier in the Garhwal Himalayas of Uttaranchal. This snow-clad mountain is perched at an altitude of 6807 m above the mean sea level.
