Swachand Peak

Swachand Peak is a tantalizing peak situated at an altitude of 6,721 m above the mean sea level. This mountain lies in the side valley of the Gangotri Glacier in the Garhwal Himalayas.

Swachand Peak was first climbed through the snowy south-eastern side, by T Messner and L Spannraft in 1938. The snow covered environment makes this an ideal destination for adventure enthusiasts.

Jolly Grant Airport and Rishikesh Railway Station are the nearest major access points.
