Embassy of the People's Republic of China




The Chinese Embassy is located at Chanakyapuri, in New Delhi. It has been set up to extend both routine and emergency services to Chinese citizens residing or in transit in India and to ensure their overall security and welfare whilst in the country.

Embassy’s services include issuing emergency passports and immigrant and non-immigrant visas, notarization and attestation, offering consultancy services for commercial ventures, representing its citizens while talking to local authorities, offering them assistance in case of emergencies and purveying necessary tourist and local information for the needy.

Various departments coming under the Embassy are Consular, Press, Education and Economic and Cultural section.

Indira Gandhi International Airport is 15 km to the north-west of Chanakyapuri. The Chinese Embassy is about 12 km to the south-west of New Delhi Railway Station and is around 15 km from the Interstate Bus Stand at Kashmiri Gate.

9:00 hrs to 12:30 hrs and
15:00 hrs to 17:30 hrs.
