Dichu

Dichu lies on the Indo-China international border and is about 30 km from Walong in Lohit District. It falls on the upper reaches of Arunachal Pradesh and has been identified as one of the eight disputed territories by India and China. Dichu can be reached by a 5 km journey on foot from Kibithoo.

The Lohit River flows nearby. Hence the hamlet figures in the tourism map as a rafting destination in the district. Since lying in a politically sensitive area, prior permission is required for visiting Dichu.

Dibrugarh Airport is the nearest airport. Tinsukia Junction Railway Station is the nearest railhead.
