Located near the Indo – China border, Chorkongma is a scenic place in
Leh District of
Jammu and Kashmir. This place is at a height of about 17,280 ft above sea level and is around 25 km from Man. Chorkongma is flanked by
Phobrang on the west and
Nyagzu on its east. Hongshantou and
Spangmik are to the north and south respectively. The region also offers many short treks and hikes to upland villages.
One can reach Chorkongma from Merak and Kakstet.
