Kakstet is a small settlement on the eastern side of
Leh District bordering with China. It is about 13,907 ft above the mean sea level. Kakstet peak (6,442 m) is the prime attraction of this place.
Merak in the west, Chorkongma in the north, Nyagzu in the east and Chushul in the south are the neighboring places connecting Kakstet.
