Bamhori




Bamhori, also called Varana, is a small village located among the hills, in Tikamgarh District, Madhya Pradesh. Situated about 50 km from Tikamgarh, this village is a major Jain center and houses one of the ancient Jain temples in the state.

The major attraction in the village is a magnificent temple, called Shri Bandha Teerth. By roads, Bamhori is well connected with Jhansi and Tikamgarh. The nearest railway station is Jhansi Junction Railway Station(7 km) and Civil Airport Khajuraho(160 km) is the closest airport.
