Muktsar District




Muktsar District of Punjab has an area of 2,608 sq km. It is bounded by the districts of Ferozepur, Faridkot, Bathinda, and the states of Rajasthan and Haryana.

Muktsar is famous for Sikh shrines. It is also known for the famous Maghi festival and the Punjabi jutti. There are number of Gurdwaras such as Rikab Ganj, Datan Sahib, and Dukhbhajan Sahib. The two important places worth visiting are the Gurdwara Tibbi Sahib and Gurdwara Tuti Gandhi Sahib.
