Huma



Huma is a prominent tourist spot in Sambalpur District of Orissa and is 32 km south-west of Sambalpur.

An ideal place for a day’s jaunt, Huma is famous for a leaning temple, dedicated to Lord Shiva. The Mahanadi River abundant with Kudo fish flows through this place. The fish which are never caught is believed to be the belonging of Lord Vimaleswar (Shiva). Boating is possible for a nominal price.

Bhubaneswar is around 290 km south-east. Nearest railhead is at Sambalpur. National Highway 42 passes east of Huma.
