Ambadevi Temple




Ambadevi Temple is a beautiful shrine located in the heart of Amaravati town, in Maharashtra. It is dedicated to Goddess Amba (Goddess Parvati).

It is believed that Lord Krishna abducted Rukmini, when she came to pray at this temple, and married her. The temple attracts devotees from all parts of Vidarbha Region.

The nearest railway station is Amaravati Railway Station.
