Palera




Palera is a municipal town, located 27 km east of Jatara, in Tikamgarh District of Madhya Pradesh. Originally it was given to Dharaman God, son of Bhagwan Rao, the first chief of Datia.

An annual fair held on the occasion of Ramnavmi is a major draw. The Government College located here is a famous educational institution in the district.

Palera can be accessed from Tikamgarh on the Nowgaon road. Regular bus connects Palera with Jatara and Baldeogarh.
