Nichnai Pass is situated at an altitude of about 4,139 m, at
Sonamarg, in the
Srinagar District of
Jammu and Kashmir. The pass is an ideal base for trekking. The pass descends to
Vishansar and
Krishnasar lakes and hence it serves as a vintage point to view the lakes.
Gangabal Lake is another panoramic view from the pass. The pass ascends from the Shokhadri and Glacier peaks.
