Vishansar Lake

Vishansar is a picturesque lake located at an altitude of about 4,084 m above sea level, in Sonamarg, Jammu and Kashmir. The translucent water of the lake, speckled with ice flakes, is a charming sight when viewed from top. Nichnai Pass offers a good view of the lake.

For trekking enthusiasts, Vishansar Lake can be reached by an adventurous trial from Sonamarg. Krishnasar, Gadsar and Gangabal are other lakes nearby.
