Pirla




Pirla, about 4 km from Sulcorna, is an archeologically important place in South Goa District . Located in the eastern region of Quepem taluk, this village is famous for its recently excavated rock art site, which is believed to be more than 8000 years old.

Netravali Lake, Netravali Wildlife Sanctuary, Rivona Caves and Cotigao Wildlife Sanctuary are nearby attractions.

The place can be reached via Balli Railway Station and Goa Airport. The Quepem-Sanguem road passes nearby.
