Velliangiri Hills is located 40 km from Coimbatore. Famous Arulmigu Velliangiri Andavar Thirukoil is situated here. According to a legend Lord Shiva performed his cosmic dance in these hills. The surroundings are covered with rare herbs and natural resources. Trekking, hang gliding, fishing and golf are arranged here for tourists.
