Vegesna Foundation




Founded in 1988, Vegesna Foundation is a non profit organization that offers education, residential and medical services to the handicapped children. This registered trust lies in Hayathnagar in Rangareddy District. Apart from curriculum, the children are provided vocational training in tailoring, embroidery and novelties making. Drawing, painting, tabla, classical music, dramatics and folk songs are taught. Counseling is a part of rehabilitation. Students are allowed to participate in social activities including pulse polio programs. Refresher courses are conducted for teachers and social workers in this field.

There is Vegesna Padmavathi Home for the Disabled offering residential facilities for polio affected and orthopedically handicapped girls. Sri Lakshmi Nrusimha Swamy Meditation Hall is for meditation, yoga classes and small gatherings.

The organization accepts financial assistance from well wishers.
