Vasan village, located about 13 km from Gandhinagar, is famous for a Shiva temple. There are 24 shivlings attracting a large number of devotees. The coins and bricks excavated from the spot prove that this temple was built before the birth of Jesus Christ. The 19th century ceiling paintings of this temple are remarkable.
