Uma Nagari is situated about 18 Km from
Anantnag in
Anantnag District. The land has 20 canals and 1000 acres of forest area reserved by Pathan Ruler for Dhooni Baba.
The beautiful spring and Uma Devi Temple are the main attractions here. Annual mahayajna is the main festival in this temple. Uma Nagari has been renamed as Sheikh Pura.
