Tuticorin Port

Tuticorin Port is an artificial deep-sea harbour formed with rubble mound type parallel breakwaters projecting into the sea for about 4 km. The port was designed and built through indigenous efforts. It is the only port in South India to offer a direct weekly container service to America. 5, 53,000 sq m of open area is available for cargo stacking facilities. The port is equipped with necessary facilities to meet the needs of clients.
