Thutotdam Dance




Thutotdam is a social dance performed by the Sherdukpens and Monpas communities of Arunachal Pradesh. It is a major attraction during the festive season of Torgyap.

The performers wear masks depicting skulls and skeleton costumes. Each step in this dance shows how the souls after death are received in the after world.
