Tapu

Located about 3 km east of Kullu, Tapu is a small town in Kullu District. It is on the Kullu-Manali road and is nearly 7 km west of Jari.

Tapu is a perfect base for trekking. Bijli Mahadev Temple is about 4 km away. Great Himalayan National Park, Kanwar Sanctuary, Khokhan Wildlife Sanctuary, Palani Fall and Rahla Fall are some of the ideal spots near Tapu. Chehni Kothi is towards south-east.

Joginder Nagar Railway Station is the nearest railhead and Kullu Manali Airport is the closest railway station.
