Syakot

Syakot is a small village, which lies at the border of Bageshwar District in Uttaranchal. Bageshwar is the nearest major town.

The state highway from Kalinag (in Pithoragarh District) passes nearby. Shri Haru Temple, Sundardunga Glacier and Gauri Udiyar Temple are easily accessible from here. Some of the nearby cities and villages are Nayali, Darun, Dophar, Kanda and Tharap.

Syakot is easily accessible by local buses and taxies from Bageshwar. Pant Nagar Airport serves this area. Kathgodam Railway Station is the nearest major railway station.
