Sundardunga Glacier




Situated at an altitude of 1,730 m above sea level, Sundardunga Glacier is known for its beautiful rocks. It offers a wonderful sight of Pindari valley. Major peaks Tharkot (6,100 m), Mrigthuni (6,856 m) and Pwalidwar (6,663 m) are visible from here. Surrounded by pristine natural beauty, this is well within the capacity of any trekker to reach.

Situated in Sundardunga valley of Bageshwar District, Sundardunga Glacier is reached by road from Song, 41 km from Bageshwar. One has to trek through a village called Umla Jatoli. The nearest camping point is at Dhakuri (35 km).
