Sree Krishna Temple is located at Thiruvambadi, 2 km away from
Alappuzha town. The temple is dedicated to
Lord Krishna.
The temple celebrates its annual festival in November. The eight-day long festival is famous for the Kodiyettam. The highlight of the festival is the grand procession of the caparisoned elephants and the Chendamelam. Devotees throng the temple in large numbers, during the festive seasons.
