Spello

Located about 200 km to the east of Shimla, Spello is a town in the Kinnaur District of Himachal Pradesh. The district headquarters, Rekong Peo, is around 40 km away. The neighboring towns are Labrang, Kanum and Lamche. Sutlej River flows close by. Moorang Fort, Kinnaur Kailash Range, Kanam Monastery, Mahabodhi Kinnaur Buddhist Temple and Lippa Monastery are the nearby attractions. National Highway 22 passes through this town. Dehradun Railway Station and Shimla Railway Station serve the town. The nearest airports are Shimla Airport and Kullu Manali Airport.
