Siddhavarkoot




Siddhavarkoot is a religiously important place located near the confluence of two sacred rivers, the Narmada and the Cauvery, in Khargone District. Surrounded by beautiful hillocks, this place is situated about 14 km from Barwah and 60 km from Sanawad.

Siddhavarkoot is a famous Jain pilgrim center and houses 13 temples. Among these ancient temples, Shri Siddhavarkoot Teerth is the major one. There is also an ancient pond.

The nearest airport is Devi Ahilya Bai Holeker Airport. Barwah Railway Station serves this place. By road, Siddhavarkoot is well connected with Omkareshwar, Barwah and Khargone. Boats are also available at Omkareshwar to cross the river.
