Shyama Kali Temple




Shyama Kali Temple, also known as Tarna Devi Temple, is a highly revered shrine, situated on the Tarna Hill, above Mandi, in Himachal Pradesh. The presiding deity is Shyama Kali, an incarnation of Goddess Parvati.

The temple was built by Raja Shyam Sen of Mandi, an ardent devotee of Goddess Kali, in the 17th century. The temple is garnished with beautiful wall paintings of gods and gurus.

Shyama Kali Temple can be reached by bus from Mandi (5 km).
