Shri Krishna Swami Temple




Shri Krishna Swami Temple is a highly revered shrine situated at Thrikkanapuram, near Nemom, in Thiruvananthapuram District of Kerala. Lord Krishna is the principal deity.

Separate niches are set apart for Lord Ganesh, Goddess Durga and Nagaraja.

Shri Krishna Swami Temple, erected in a spiral shaped form, is an outstanding example of the Kerala style of architecture. The walls of the temple are adorned with the murals of Dashavatar. Tulsi leaf garlands and butter are the main offerings at the temple.

The auspicious days of Lord Krishna are Thursdays and the star Rohini.

Janmashtami Festival is celebrated with much gaiety and fanfare by the devotees.

Trivandrum International Airport (17 km) and Thiruvananthapuram Central Railway Station (9 km) are the nearest airport and railway station respectively. The temple can be accessed by bus from Thiruvananthapuram Central Bus Station.
