Shan-e-Punjab Express




Shan-e-Punjab Express (also spelt Shane Punjab Express) runs between Hazrat Nizamuddin Railway Station in Delhi and Amritsar Junction Railway Station in Punjab. (‘Shan-e-Punjab’ means ‘glory of Punjab.’) Main towns on the way are New Delhi, Panipat, Ambala, Ludhiana, Phagwara and Jalandhar. This super fast train operates daily and covers a distance of 457 km. A/C chair car and second seating coaches are available.

Train number 2497: Nizamuddin to Amritsar, leaves Nizamuddin at 06:05 hrs.
Train number 2498: Amritsar to Nizamuddin, leaves Amritsar at 14:55 hrs.
